Die Kooperation zwischen Ecobank und der Bank of China (Mauritius) ist weniger Symbolik als Infrastrukturpolitik: Zahlungsverkehr, Handelsfinanzierung und Währungsoptionen. Während der China–Afrika-Handel wächst, verlagert sich die eigentliche Dynamik unter die Oberfläche – in Settlement-Systeme, Korridore und eine zunehmend multiwährungsfähige Handelsarchitektur. Der US-Dollar bleibt zentral, aber Alternativen werden operativ.

Ecobank’s partnership with the Bank of China (Mauritius) is not about symbolism, but about infrastructure: payments, trade finance and currency options. As China–Africa trade grows, the real shift is happening below the surface — in settlement systems, corridors and the gradual move toward a multi-currency trade architecture. The dollar remains central, but alternatives are becoming operational.
